Place of Service.  For 2024, CMS will continue to allow a practitioner who performs telehealth services from home to report the address of their medical practice rather than a home address as the place of service on claims.  When the Medicare enrollment file identifies the medical practice as the service location, the practitioner is not required to add a home address to the enrollment file and may continue to use the practice location for billing purposes. CMS recognized the safety and privacy concerns that would be implicated by reporting home addresses but plans to revisit this issue later in 2024.  Stay tuned!  Adam Law advises providers on compliance with state and federal telemedicine requirements.
